In the Oil and Gas Industry there are many teams assigned with differing goals and objectives and you may find yourself Leading one of those teams!
Personal Greatness for any Leader is measured by effectiveness in bringing out the greatness of those you lead.
You may be asking, and it would be a good question to ask, How do I know when I am leading my team effectively?
When all members of your organization strive for personal greatness and derive pride from what they contribute to the group, that’s when you will know!
The key for you as a leader is to help individuals in your team to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and enhance the former while finding a way to at least neutralize the latter.
I believe personal greatness is measured against one’s own potential, not against someone else on the team or elsewhere, so work on being the best you as a team member and as a leader. Harnessed correctly, your team will be more effective and ultimately more competitive.
